THIS LARGE STICK IS PRODUCED FROM PURE QUARTZ TO BE USED WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES. IT IS WIDELY USED FOR STIRRING MOLTEN
METALS IN 100-OZ AND 1000-OZ GRAPHITE/METAL CRUCIBLES. RECOMMENDED FOR USE WITH THE FOLLOWING MELTING FURNACES: R9D-100 & R9D-1000.

Useful tips for beginners:
To clean molten metal from any impurities:
- dissolve metal's cleaning powder in hot tap water 194-203 F (90 C-95 C) in proportion of 250 gr per 0,5 litre of water.
- deep quartz stick into the solution, for improved results leave it in for a few seconds.
- then using your stick carefully stir molten metal
in the crucible. The molten metal cleaning powder solution is acting as a glue for non-metal impurities as
dust, dirt and grease which coating around the stick.
- to clean your stick, deep it again into solution. Repeat the process if necessary.
