THERE IS A LONG-LIFE CRUCIBLE FROM A HIGH PURITY METAL ALLOY WITH INTERNAL DIMENSIONS: 20 MM (D) x 55 MM (H) THAT IS WIDELY USED TO MELT DOWN UP TO 10 OZ (310 G) OF GOLD. YOU CAN USE IT WITH OUR RANGE OF FURNACES: R9-10 & R9D-10 TO MELT DOWN ANY TYPE OF METALS OR, FOR EXAMPLE, INSIDE ANY HEATING KILN (1100 C/ 2012 F OR MORE) IF YOU HAVE ONE. THIS CRUCIBLE WILL HOLD 20-25 FIRING PROCESSES AT 1100 C AND MUCH MORE ON TEMPERATURES BELLOW 1000 C/ 2012 F.
Please be aware that a small part of molten metal may remain on internal walls of this crucible. Make sure you have enough quantity of metal to melt down using this metal crucible. To melt down a small quantity of metal, a graphite crucible is recommended.
